No 3G logo on Sony Ericsson W890i?

Have just got new Sony Ericsson W890i. It is a 3G phone and I am in a 3G area, but it does not display the 3G logo in the top half of the screen as my old 3G phone did. It does display an ''H'' logo though which I think stands for HDSPA.

Should it have the 3G logo or is the HDSPA logo its more advanced replacement?

I think 3G is GSM technology and your phone is CDMA that's why it's showing HSDPA, they both have the same speed ie HSDPA is 3G for CDMA phones.
