I recently bought a Compaq Armada 1535dm notebook from my good friend Girlie, who recently hopped board for the mainland. Ahh. My heart stay sad! Sadder yet, my friggin' laptop went "t-t's up" ! When I first got her, she was like a tourist who had seen one too many tourist attractions and wanted to spend the rest of vacation locked in her hotel room. Admitedly, I thinik I may have played the overenthusiastic hostes, but she seemed to be adjusting well and was running great. Then it just happened...I took a shower (left her on) and when i came out I pressed a key and that was it! Screen went blank, no display lights, no response to any thing I've tried.. With battery and w/out power cord; w/out batterie and with power cord; and every other combo....nothing. Tried different cord... different ooutlet... Occasionally, I'll hear an electronic click and a flash of power on lights when I try plugging power soarce in. But other than that, she's flat-lined! Help! Erin on Oahu.(erinzoey@excite.com)
