No Carl and only one Wallace in the NCTS race at Gateway? What's up with that?

Yeah, I know it's cutting it a bit close to the Nationwide race, but still... it makes me want to cry. At least Chrissy Wallace is going to be in it...

I guess Carl is going to put his emphasis on the chase and keeping the Nationwide team in the top 10 in points. I know it wouldn't be that big of a trip from Richmond to Gateway speedway. I don't know, only Carl, Kenny & Mike know what they have to do. I'm sure they would like to be there for sure.

it's not that they are cutting it close to the nationwide race, it's that they are cutting too close to the cup race. the nationwide race is friday night. the truck race will be saturday afternoon at gateway, and the final cup race of the "regular season" will be held shortly thereafter saturday night. plus, carl and the wallaces don't normally run in the truck series. if it was a nationwide race i'd be surprised, but not a truck race.

besides, when was the last time carl, mike, kenny, or steven ran in a truck race? carl edwards hasn't run a truck race this year, and has only run three in the past two years. mike wallace ran hasn't run a truck race all this year, and has run in no more than five truck races in any year since 2001. kenny has run only ten truck races total - one last year and the rest in 1995-1996. steven has never run a truck series race.

finally, the truck race is being held so close in time to saturday night's cup race that mikey waltrip will not be doing commentary for the truck race this week, and he loves to do that. but he loves racing in the cup series even more...

Although I don't follow truck on a regular basis, I can see by Kyle and Carl aren't making that treck across to the midwest. I'll be interested as to how Chrissy Wallace does.

I see what you mean yes it's Gateway.

However, Carl Edwards doesn't race trucks anymore. Rusty Wallace doesn't race anything anymore. Kenny Wallace doesn't race trucks. And if i had to guess Mike is gonna be Chrissy's spotter.
