No Hurricane In Florida?

There has not been a single hurricane (in florida) since 2005! Whats up with that.

Well, Hannah may be heading that way, but it's still uncertain.

It is just by chance.  It is typical for tropical cyclone tracks to alter in somewhat cyclical patterns as the years go by.  For some time one area seems to get more of them, then the tracks shift in ensuing years to other areas, only to shift back in still later years.
