  1. It means 'we are such an inefficient and over bloated organisation we can't even be bothered to give you a decent explanation that you will understand'.

It probably means 'Theres actually nothing wrong with the trains but due to current Health and Safety Legislation we are unable to revert to operating procedures we used to use before walkie talkies that work underground were invented'.

  2. Get a black cab,or you were born with legs use them

  3. Drivers need to be able to communicate with each other and the stations usually by radio, if this is faulty that could make running the tube by guesswork dangerous

  4. it means you need to take the bus :D with loads of school children

  5. the equipment they communicate with is faulty

to you their walkie talkies have broken...

  6. ALANA, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?  THIS IS WEEK END, TAKE LIFE EASY GIRL.

I AM OFF TO SEE THE Beijing Olympic and I am not taking the bloody tube @ all so Cheerio

  7. they are underground. mobiles dont work down there. for safety and security reasons they need to be able to communicate down there - possibly some relays or similar failed

  8. It means you walk or go by bus.

  9. It could mean anything but will probably be something to do with the signalling system
