I have a Vizio P42 Plasma, Type SP42A, Serial # DTP AAsA E44027. I have no piicture and when powered on it seems to go thru the seires of booting up but then seems to just tripp off.
I unplug, plug in, turn on main power switch (louder click), (light click) as the light turns amber on the front panel. A few seconds later (light click) as the front panel light turns green. Five seconds later (light click) as if it has tripped and the front panel light remains green. No picture.

Here is a run down of the series OF EVENTS:
1. Main power switch on, (louder click) comming from small power board?. Its located in the middle back of the unit. Its a delta board stamped (Model: ADP-60CF A) and has a white sticker afixed to one of the moduels stamped (KXT 044 3036 944). There is also a light paper type cardboard wrapped and taped around the sides of board with a bar code sticker afixed with numbers reading (KTX000443036944).
2. Then (light click) comming from main power board?. P/N 3501Q00053A Rev.A, & S/N D604610990. As light turns solid green on bottom of this board and front panel light turns amber.
3. A few seconds later another (light click) comming from the main power board? As front panel light turns green, main power board light remains solid green and green lights come on from an unidentified board at bottom back left, below the Y-Sustain board part# 6871Qyh027B. Lights come on in sequence D2 solid, D13 solid, D17 flashes.
4. Five seconds later another (slighty louder click) comming from the main power board? as if it tripped. Light on front panel remains green. Light on main power board? flashes 5 times then solid, flashes 5 times then solid and repeats this till the main power switch is turned off. Also the green lights on the board below the Y-Sustain board turn off.
5. There is also a slight frequency pitch noise comming from the small power board that makes the first (louder click) when turning on from the main power switch and continues till the last (as if it were tripped Click) then it is silent.
I hope this long winded explination will help you in helping me trouble shoot this problem. I'm sure one of the boards are bad and needs to be replaced but which one?? Hope you can give me some advice or help on pin pointing this faulty board. I will be doing the work my self and as I can see from removing the back panel all the boards are s***w and plug in.
Thanx, David
