Question:

No Preview Thumb for any video files

So, i have lots of avis/mpgs/etc on my harddrive. But all the videos only show icons that say avi file, mpg file, etc. I do have the vista codec package and the divx codec installed. Could it be that I need a video card or something? please help !

i am currently on HP Pavilion Slimline s3220n Desktop PC

window edition: windows vista home premium. service pack 1

memory:2.00GB

processor: amd athlon 64 x2 dual core processor 3800 2.00 Ghz

System type: 32-bit operating system

  1. You will need a supplemental video card until Vista becomes compatible with opening your files.
