No Review System in India-South Africa series

The Umpire Decision Review System will not be adopted in the upcoming cricket battle between India and South Africa.

“We will definitely not be using it,” he said.
The chief did not disclose the details behind the initiation of such decision but it is said that the Indian team is not interested in using the technology in the matches. He was in Dubai, for the ICC conference of the Chief Executives when he mentioned
about the decision taken.

Although Corrie accepted his likeness for the system as it eradicates the possibility of errors. He mentioned that this is good for the game but cannot be imposed if one party is not ready to own it.
Graeme Smith, the South African team captain, has been of the view that the technology is good for the spirit of the game. He is of the view that the system should be implemented consistently as this is the way forward in cricket.
“I think if the UDRS is going to be successful if implemented properly,” expressed Smith, speaking of his stance on the technology use. He was against its use in selective series and was adamant that this should be mandatory now.
