I hate roadtrips last time i went on one was when i was like 8 or 9. Its a 23 hour drive so over a period of two or 3 days i will be on the road. Going from MN to AZ. What should i do? Should i take some sleeping pills and sleep the whole way? Pop a couple more when i wake up and only be almost halfway there? And its with my parents. Who are known to get stressed and raise there voices when a problem arises. ugh...

  1. erm... how about bring something to do to pass your time... bring friends, play games, blablalba!!! oh and admire the scene and could take a while for days to pass on, also-try to sleep as much as you can buddy... your parents cant really get any sleep at all sometimes, your lucky your not the one driving

  2. Roads trip are Fantastic! our family has a great time. find a map plan, search some stuff to see and do along the way . Be involved and the time goes faster. Stop and see  weird stuff and Natl parks take the northern route do Mount Rushmore, then south to the Rockies, Albuquerque,  grand canyon.

There will be only a few hours of boredom on that trip. that's when you listen to your mp3 or a video at night.

Help them plan  the trip and it will be less stressful for them . Parents get stressed even more, when they  every one keeps saying there's nothing to do.

    Be involved!! !

  3. h**l no! That is suicide! If you take that many, you will wake up in the hospital, or walking down a lage tunnel with a white glow at the end!

If you have any DVDs, go to Wal Mart or somewhere and get a Portable DVD Player. Or if you have a PS2 or PS3, then get a generator that will plug up into a cigrette lighter. Then bring some games and play that.

If you love reading books, get a small bag(not duffel bag or bookbag, something small enough to put a couple of books in) and take some books from your house. Or go to the library and borrow some. Then, when you get back into town, take the books back.

You can always bring a CD player or an iPod and listen to music. Just make sure to get a iPod charger that plugs into a cigerette lighter so it don't go dead.

Just don't pop pills. I am a nurse and if you take that much in a 24 hour period, you will suffer from a drug overdose. You can take lake two at the start of the ride. Then, when you wake up, go use the bathroom, to get the pills out of your system. Then, take two more.

I don't recommend this because it can knock off your sleeping pattern.

  4. ipod.(if own 1)

    psp (if own 1)

    book

    pillow

    portable dvd player

    sense of humor

  5. Take your ipod and favorite games, enjoy the scenery around you and make the best of it!

  6. sorry hate em' too.

  7. I don't love road trips either, beacuse sharing the backseat with 2 siblings isn't the most fun experience in the world! I just drown them out with an mp3 player and plan an activity at the destination place to look forward and make it worth it.

  8. go in the back back seat and sleep and yea probely take some sleaping pills but dont overdose

  9. bring something to do. mabe you could take a couple sleeping pills. bring a snack to munch on. bring your cellphone. bring a pillow and blankets.

  10. listen to ipod, play psp, read a book, sleep, get some magazines, check out the scenery

  11. Oh no. Poor you. Can you convince them to fly instead?!

If you can get your hands on sleeping pills I think that's a good way to go!
