Andre Villas-Boas has laughed off reports suggesting that the club owner forced him into playing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ashley-Cole-c6809 against Bolton Wanderers.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 in the Champions League round-of-16 first leg, in the absence of the aforementioned trio. It was a controversial selection decision that was wildly criticised by the club faithful.
However, AVB recalled the trio for the game against Bolton and comfortably won the game 3-0. Goals from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Didier-Drogba-c11044 and Frank Lampard were enough to seal the tie.
AVB denied having answered to the owner for his decision and answered the questions in a rather sarcastic tone.
"What are you trying to say? Of course, it's a coincidence." Villas-Boas said before sarcastically adding “I got the call just this morning to play them, all three of them."
AVB has been taking it out on the media recently but this was a jovial press conference. However, the manager warned the media that they would find a different person should he be targeted.
“The day that I feel disrespected in some way about my professionalism, you will find a different person speaking to you."
