No audio after installing the o.s.

after installing the operating system...i've installed also the video & graphics... then after i've installed the audio the sounds won't work..no sound..can you help me how to solve the problem? give me the steps or how to install the audio.. the brand of the motherboard is foxconn 45cmx...
