No audio in Adobe After Effects.?

I just got Adobe After Effects, and when I import a WMV file, there isn't any audio. What am I doing wrong?

  1. After Effects was never intended to edit/handle audio. the proper workflow is to use a separate editing software to handle audio/video assembly in conjuntion with it.

    however, if i were to guess at your problem, you have to do 2 things to get audio playback in adobe after effects:

    1) enable audio playback on the timeline

    2) RAM preview (normal preview won't playback audio)


  2. Import it again.

    Or Restart the PC then import it again.

    If it doesnt work. Try install Klite Mega Codec Pack.
