  1. Yes, there is a list for telemarketers!!!!  Here's some info:

  2. How are you I have a blog you must read I have a unit that works for the Goverment Do NOT CALL SYSTEM  There were 165 Million people that signed upped for a system that didn't work. My team and I have it working and are going to production with a unit that works for it we just need input to who would be willing to buy and what they would be willing to spend on it to have it on the store self in about two months

So you can email me at zeusib@yahoo.com . And the product name will be the GateKeeper.

    Thanks Mr.Giles

  3. Usually I just answer the phone and talk to a representative. I let them say what they have to say and once they ask what kind of card I carry, I say I no longer carry any type of credit nor debit card and that's all it takes because then they end up hanging up on me. lol =)

They don't bother calling back because afterall, why would anyone try to sell something to someone they assume cannot afford it, right?

If you use the internet to purchase things or to enter sweepstakes or to register for websites and newsletters, you're more prone to be harrased because once you enter your info, you get put on mailing/calling lists.

So my advice is to try out the method I've shared to see how it works for you.

Then, try to refrain from sharing your phone number, especially on the internet.

    Good luck

  4. you can always tell them to take you off their list. they legally have to do it to keep themselves in the clear. it takes a few calls but you will notice that once you do it a few times, you will get far less calls. Most companies work from the same list. If you are taken off, then that goes from the others list too! If they refuse to take you off, call the better business bureau with their number. It will get handled fast. and just so you know since you already have your number, getting on any no call list is just wasted effort and money. they already have your information at hand. they still can use it "accidentally". If you truly do not want them to call, have your number changed and have the phone company make it unpublished. For comcast and Verizon it is $2 a month and it is far worth the hassle.

  5. me too! you can go x-directory but they still get your number by random dialling.  once you answer, your number is there and noted.  i hate it.

you can tell straightaway so once i know it is a nuisance call i just leave the phone on the side until they hang up on me!
