Question:

No central heating but everything else fine?

Our boiler is lit, we have hot water (via the immersion), in fact everything else works, but even with the heating on the radiators (all of them) stay cold.

I thought maybe the thermostat (what with it being warm) but I can't find one!

Any suggestions?

  1. Firstly what is the make of boiler try putting the name into a search engine you should be able to find it easy enough that could help you find a solution, are the radiators cold from top to bottom when you turn the boiler on? have you tried to bleed them? sorry I ain't no plumber but just trying to give you a few pointers as to what to check before calling in the costly professionals.

  2. não entendi nada.

  3. If you have hot water via the immersion this has nothing to do with the boiler or heating system. Can you heat your water using your boiler timeclock control. If not, it could be a faulty pump. If your water can be heated using the boiler then it could be the themostat or a zone valve not working. Also remember, the boiler always has a pilot light on wether it is heating or not. Are you sure that the boiler is firing when asked to or is it the pilot light you are seeing.
