I have been out of work for about a year and half. I will be honest with everyone...I just don't like to work. You all may say I am lazy...but working is not for me. We all have to work in order to pay bills.

last few job positions were in logistics/freight forwarding.

Well since I have been out of work and now getting back in...I don't have any confidence on the interviews that I go on.

I need some advice...in getting over this!

Please Help Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. find a job that you think is perfect for you.

It'll only leave you more confidence, because you want the job.

And clear your head from negativity.

A bad interview is only a bad interview if you dont be yourself.

  2. I think you just need to relax.

And don't pick a job like yours.

If you love it, pick it but you need to pick a job you love, or a job you kinda like but you get to see someone everyday so you get excited.

thats the best thing to do.

I love my job, I'm an investment banker, and I love the job, and I get paid millions.

  3. amen to that.  i hate interviews.

  4. I don't think it's that you don't like to work. I think it's that you dislike what you do.

Obviously, the reason why you're not getting the jobs after the interviews is because you're not confident. During an interview, you're expected to sell yourself as the best candidate for the job. You're not showing that to your potential superiors during the interviews so they hire someone else who is. The best advice I can give you is make sure that this is really want you want to do. If not, go to school or start fresh at a new company where you can start on the bottom and work your way up.
