No cricketer invites injuries, says Harbhajan Singh – Cricket News Update
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 as merely a drama to pave the way for playing the upcoming Champions League T20 tournament.
The bowler has claimed that injuries are always uninvited but now he feel himself to be quite fit to play any tournament anywhere in the world and not just the Champions League.
Singh also opines that a player is himself the biggest judge of his skills and claims that he is satisfied with what he has gained in International cricket.
The bowler is hopeful of his bright future and honourable stay in the team after spending a lot of tough time in the rehabilitation center of National Cricket Academy (NCA) in India.
Talking to the media he said, “Had there been any other tournament instead of CL T20, I would have even made myself available for that. I have been given a go-ahead by the doctors and physios and that's why I am getting ready for competitive cricket. For
me, it's about playing any form of cricket.”
He further told, “All these years, I have maintained one thing. After a hard day's play, I go back to my hotel room and look at myself in the mirror. If I know that I have given my 100 percent, that's what matters to me.”
Bhajji could play just two Tests from the four-match series held last month in London. His abdominal strain forced him to fly back prematurely but he did not waste time and joined the NCA to regain fitness.
The offspinner claimed some days back that he had many years to serve his national team. The 31-year-old has played 98 Tests, 229 ODIs and 23 T20Is so far, taking 406, 259 and 18 wickets respectively.
The right hander has suffered a lot of hiccups in his career including racial discrimination and injuries, but has not lost heart.
