I turn 21 September 26th. And my boyfriend and I are going to Las Vegas to celebrate it.

A year ago, I got a DUI. I haven't gotten my license back. Will I be unable to go to into the bars and so forth in Las Vegas with a clipped license?

Or should I get my license back? It's not garaunteed that I'll get it back before the trip. Will the paper be ok?

Any suggestions?

  1. It needs to be photo ID. Got a passport, use it.

  2. you can go to the DMV and get a regular ID. It's not a license, but it looks like it.

  3. Get a regualer ID card from the DMV

it took me almost 6 weeks to get mine back when i got a DUI

  4. Paper licenses will not work in Vegas. You will need an official State ID/ Drivers' License with photo. If the DOB and photo are clear, a clipped license may work.  It would depend on the casino/bar policies.

  5. A clipped license should be good enough to get into bars and casinos are long as your picture and DOB is visible.

  6. Go down to DMV and pay for an official DMV ID.  That will be accepted
