No fat people on tv?

Question

Every time a commercial for mcdonalds or wendys or any other food chain comes on they always have skinny good looking people. And not just on food commercials also on every other one. Does anyone notice this besides me?

I never thought of that, but I have thought about the exercise videos that women put out..  Their helpers are very thin people.  Only Richard Simmons has large people on his video.  

By the way,  most people don't like to be called FAT, they would rather be called LARGE.

well think about it.... what would people think if they saw fat people eating the food they were advertising? they wouldnt be too convinced to eat there. its all psychology.

The "no more whopper" commercials are hilarious and their are all different types of people.

If you were going to sell your autobiography would you use scenes depicting you picking your nose or scenes of you having fun?  It's advertising and it's supposed to be attractive

i notice, being sort of on the heavy side, i realize how little i see bigger people on tv or in pictures. I hate media these days, nobody is even real, it is all photoshopped!! And you wouldn't you see heavy people on weightloss commercials? that would make sense, especially for pills. All those people taking wieght loss pills are a decent weight to begin with, y not someone heavier? I have tv! aha.. =))

sure, but what do you expect them to do..... if they told the truth only the fat ppl would come...... they'd lose what...25% of their business.?
