The former Dinamo Minsk player urged the Dinamiki to win the remaining Russian Premier League matches after losing two points against Spartak Moscow.
Dynamo Moscow head coach, Sergei Silkin, has dismissed suggestions of a long-running feud with the Dinamiki striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Igor-Semshov-c16748. Silkin insisted that Semshov has only himself to blame after making outrageous comments about the
team and the manager.
Semshov blasted Silkin during the post match press conference, revealing that the manager is behind Dynamo’s slump in form, after the Dinamiki drew the latest Russian Premier League tie 1-1 against Spartak Moscow at Luzhniki stadium.
The Louders midfielder made these comments after being replaced at the hour mark against the Moscow-based club. Semshov, who was extremely unhappy with his substitution, refused to shake hands with Silkin and went straight to the
locker room.
The Russian tactician revealed that Semshov should accept the responsibility for the situation he finds himself in. Silkin went on to tell the reason behind the substitution, revealing that it was a tactical decision.
“Of course, no player wants to be substituted. This is a normal reaction. Maybe he did it because he was unhappy at the moment. However, we shook hands in the locker room. Players should understand and respect the manager’s decision.”
The Soviet Top League runner-up was quoted as saying.
The fact that the White-blues retained the third spot in the league after playing out an entertaining 1-1 draw against the Myaso pleases Silkin, who urged his side to win the remaining matches of the ongoing season.
Dynamo will take on Lokomotiv Moscow before playing the Russian Cup final against Rubin Kazan. Silkin urged his side to gear up for the upcoming difficult matches and assured the fans of giving their best shot.
While reflecting on their latest draw against the Myaso, Silkin revealed that his side would have done better on the field had they taken all their chances.
“We scored a quick goal in the first half and Spartak levelled it during the second, I believe it was a fair outcome. Of course, we would have been happy if we had won but we have drawn - that's football.” Silkin concluded.
