No friends in any of my classes?!?

please help me, i dont know what to do i cant stop crying because i dont have any friends in any of my classes and people are NOT friendly. They only talk to you if you've been friends with them since 1st grade or wahtever. I'm in 8th grade, and i might be able to switch some classes, but some classes i dont want to switch. I'm also crying because i think my BEST friend moved to another state now i cant see her anymore. what am i supposd to do?

i really doubt other people are THAT mean.

just talk to others, be confident, be open

and voila! new friends. they don't necessarily have to replace your old ones - the more the merrier!

I was in the same exact position 2 years ago. I know it feels like you're all alone, but chances are there are other people that are lonely too.

If that is not the case, I don't think you should drop out of classes that you don't want to. Just tough it out, and make as much time with your friends as possible. Even though you are not in the same classes, I'm sure they would want to help you study and stuff like that. Organize a study date. Go to the movies after school. Meet each other before you leave. Go to the zoo! :P

The truth is, there are people in a LOT worse situation that you are. Just keep you head held high, and I know you will get through this year!!

If it helps, you got one person probably thousands of miles away from you hoping you do well and have a good year, that you don't know and with probably never ever meet!
