No gift for wedding anniversery?

our 2nd wedding anniversary is coming up in two days and my hus does not show any signs of getting me a gift..should i remind him?

your husband does not need to show any signs.... only one simply that he loves you.. wedding anniversary are about the day thaty ou guys got married and promised to love eachother forever not give eachother a present every anniversary.Maybe he is just keeping it in secret, it might just be something big... signs mean nothing.... he should remember but maybe a little hint will do the trick

but don't worry im sure he has something in store for you

That's a tough one. If you remind him, then he will act like he knew all along that your anniversary was coming up. If he still shows no signs of wanting to celebrate this with you, then I would wait until the day of your anniversary when you are at home, and then when someone calls (or else have someone call you while you are both at home) and he asks what they wanted just say "oh that was my mom (or whoever) and they just wanted to say happy anniversary to us." I think that would be good. Its not a way of starting a fight about it and he would feel akward about not buying you anything or celebrating it! Good luck!

Why should he get you a gift every year.I dont understand why people do this every year.Every ten years,than ya and your first anniversary ofcourse.Just go out to dinner.

If it's important to you, then yes. Ask him if he wants to exchange gifts and let him know that you would like to.

Yes...tell him the anniversary is coming in two days and say lets go out to dinner to celebrate....it would be nice if he got a gift, but if he doesn't don't go all crazy about it...life is too short for all the game playing most people do...if you want a gift...tell him that; otherwise a nice dinner out for the two of you should be enough....and if he gets you flowers, be grateful.....too much value is placed on mundane material things and not enough on what is really important.....he could be dead by your anniversary (sorry to be harsh) and then what kind of gift would you have!
