There are 9 ATP Masters Series events during a year and then there's a Masters Cup at the end of a year. What i want to know is that why no grass courts in Masters Series, not a single one?? Why's that?? There's clay, there's hard court and carpet...no grass??

  1. There really needs to be. It is ridiculous that the other surfaces all have a proper season leading up to their respective Majors, therefore allowing players to get a feel for the court they will be playing on. Somehow Wimbledon (the grandest of the Grand Slams) got the shaft. After the French Open, the pros have precisely two weeks (one if they intend to preserve their stamina for the big stage) to make the abrupt change of pace to compete on grass. As the schedule currently stands, there is not the room to fit in a Masters but something clearly needs to change. In the interest of fairness to both the players and the long-suffering fans, a grass-court Masters really should be factored into the season.

  2. It's  pity they don't have more ATP matches on grass. That's tennis at its best

  3. You're completely right. I don't think there's an ATP Masters event for carpet though. Anyway, the reason there are no grass Masters Series events is because they are too much money to maintain and there are only a few. They should make the Stella Artois one a Masters Series. Maybe it will happen. I honestly think they should have more grass court tournaments so more players can play and spread out.
