No honor classes.....National Honor Society?

Do you had to have honor classes to get into The National Honor Society???

  1. No, none at all. you only have to have a 3.7 GPA. Good luck


  2. You do not have to have any honors classes, but you need a 3.5 GPA, although that may depend on the school. The National Honor Society site says the requirements are:

    Scholarship: Students who have a cumulative grade point average of 85 percent, B, 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent standard of excellence, or a higher cumulative average set by the local school's Faculty Council, meet the scholarship requirement for membership. These students are then eligible for consideration on the basis of service, leadership, and character (and citizenship for NJHS).

  3. No...but its hard to get in.

    I didn't get in...

    I volunteer over 400 hours each year with 4 different organizations.

    I am the president and founder of a club at school

    I am involved in sports (figure skating)

    I have a 4.0 and I am taking difficult classes such as A.P. and Honors in math and science.

    I have had many awards and scholarships, my story was even featured on television.

    And much more, even learning to speak English at age 10.

    So, yeah, its very difficult to get into.
