No hope of oxbridge?

Question

i think im going to be getting two B's for my gcses the rest a's

if this does happen does that mean i should give up hope of going to oxbridge and focus on elsewhere?

Admittedly most people at Oxbridge have a mixture of As and A*s, but a couple of Bs shouldn't be the end of the world.  Just make sure that you get straight As in your A levels and that any written work you submit with your application if of the highest standard you can produce so that they can clearly see these Bs were a couple of glitches.

I wouldn't worry too much though - I was convinced I was going to get a couple of Bs in my GCSEs and I ended up getting A*s in those subjects!
