No hot water in restaurant????

I have been to the same restaurant 2 times in 3 days and there was no hot water in toilets. A member of staff said that their boiler was broken but it was ok as they had provided antibacterial soap. Is it true? What about cleaning the dishes/kitchen area?

  1. Makes you wonder how the people who work there clean

their hands when they use the toilet,  Antibacterial soap

does not clean the hands was well as soap and hot water,

    especially around the fingernails.

Don't believe I would eat there.

If they don't have hot water to clean the dishes and

kitchen area, then they should be closed.

  2. That is totally against health code.Call the health inspector.

  3. report it if nesscary but thats disgusting thats there is no hot water.

  4. In the kitchen, the dishwasher is not hooked up to the hot water (look under your own sink, it is hooked up to the cold).  Dishwashers have a heating element that will heat up the water to clean and sanatize the dishes.  I doubt they are washing the dishes by hand, that is just not cost effective or efficient.

Now as for the hand washing thing.  That is just king of nasty.  I would really check back in a week and if they still don't have hot water by all means report them.

  5. It's Illegal Call the Health Department NOW!

  6. Don't go back!

  7. report this to local health and safety office. soap alone wont kill bugs.
