No idea about Fantasy Football, need help...

Question

Everyone in the office is doing it and so I felt compelled to join in despite knowing very little, i've chosen...

Strikers: F Torres, E Adebayor

Midfield: Deco, C Fabregas, S Gerrard, M Carrick

Defence: J Hoyte, M Silvestre, J Evans, F Aurelio

Goal: J Reina

Is that any good or are any of these injured or not likely to play? They're all from the big teams so can't be that bad (at least that was my reasoning!)

Just like me... I wouldn't let the boys beat me being the only girl in the office!!

I just went for the names I hear most often on match of the day!!!

I’ve also got Torres as a striker too but Defoe as the second one - based purely on the fact he’s cute!!

Your team looks pretty good other than your defence. I would remove Silvestre as he will not play many games as Evra is the preferred left back for Man Utd now. Also if you have enough cash to strenghthen your defence I would remove Evans for a Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool defender as theses teams do not concede as many goals as the others. If you have to change one of your midfielders to get more money I would suggest getting rid of Carrick for a cheaper option to free up some money (possibly Sidwell for Aston Villa or Malbranque for Sunderland if they are cheaper - which they should be)!!

If that doesn't free up enough cash for you then I would remove Adebayor for Blackburns Santa Cruz or Peter Crouch for Portsmouth. I'm sure they will do a good job this season and will surely cost alot less than Adebayor! You can always change things around after afew games if things don't work out!
