  1. Try sketching these problems in order to get the concept of solving them.

The line is a slope with the base of the triangle from -13 to +6 which equals 19. The height is a line from -8 to 17 which is 25.

    The hypotenuse (C) is equal to a^2 + B^2 = c^2

    2) is done the same way

    3) plot the slope ( midpoint is 1/2 of x at 1/2 y)

Since the line is flat along the y axis the midpoint is (-3,7)

    4) is the same method as #3

    5) The triangles are similar

    12 x = 17

    y * x = 300

    Substitute and solve for y

  2. just do -13/6 and you will get the dis and then do the same with -8 /17 and can use a calculator do that with 1 and 2 the other ones i don't know

  3. If this question was in the math section where it is supposed to be, I'd spend the time answering it.  But since you are not smart enough to realize you have it in GEOGRAPHY, you can figure it out for yourself.
