No info on ups tracking number online, while on phone gave info?

On ups.com, my ups tracking number responds "UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later." The item supposedly shipped 2 days ago. I called ups, and their automated system told me "This package is on time and sheduled for delivery on xxxx". Why would the online system not update yet the phone system was able to provide info? Anyone else have similar problems with ups? Thanks.

  1. Computer glitch? Might not be updated yet? I haven't had this problem but frequently track packages and have noticed that they don't always update the website daily.


  2. You should contact UPS via telephone (land line), talk to a live person, and have what necessary information is needed to find your package...i.e. tracking number, shipping information such as where it is addressed to.

    I listed for both packages and freight below because I do not know if you are waiting on a new bathing suit or a cage for an elephant. Hope your package arrives soon. Ask to drive the big brown truck for consolation on the delay for your package.
