I put an ad in classifieds that reads: {Deep tissue massage in your home. Not licensed or certified. Inexpensive 1 hour price. Please call......} (I have experience but never got a license or was certified--no time as this is a part-time income only). Is this illegal in the state of NJ? Can I get in trouble?

  1. Pull the ad immediately, what you are doing is illegal. You must have a license to practice. NJ and NY has one of the most strictest laws, you don't want to learn what type of punishments they can do. Do yourself a favor, attend a massage school, and get yourself licensed.
