No more call waiting music?

I called comcast and att and there was just silence, no music. Is this a new trend?

It's better than lying to me and repeatedly telling me that "my call is important to them."

No idea, but I wish that happened to me. The music is usually so annoying it makes me want to throw the phone against the wall when it comes on. Does my head in.
