I have to go back to school on the 3rd September and by then I have to of completed a English essay about "To Kill A Mockingbird" by Harper Lee, no offense to Literature fanatics, but it is the most boring book I have ever encountered, and trust me I've read alot! I have absolutely no motivation to complete the essay, I have tried on multiple occasions but I literally fall asleep or find something more interesting to do! If I don't do this essay I will get in serious trouble but even though I have less than 2 weeks to get it complete and printed I am not bothered. I am getting stressed about it (when I get stressed I get Migraine's [some today] I need motivation, please help...

  1. Hmmm...I hope you're not in my English 9 class, because I assigned this book for summer reading! It's a good book!  Okay, I'm not going to argue the point.  I'm glad you read the book, but it looks like you're going to need a little motivation.  Why don't you watch the movie?  It doesn't cover every detail of the book, but it will make the book come to life for you.  It's probably going to be hard to rent because everyone entering ninth grade is probably doing the same thing!  It'll be cheap to purchase, though, since it's a little old.  It's the Gregory Peck version. (I don't think there was a re-make.)

If you need more motivation, pop two Excedrine Migraine tablets, walk into your bedroom, face the mirror and say, "If I don't do this essay, I'm going to make a REALLY bad first impression on my teacher!"  That ought to do it.
