  1. Simple lettwer won't work. it must be on state bond paper of perhaps Rs. 50. Lalit's speciment will do.

  2. its simple just ask your parents to write in it that you are travelling alone and they give u permission...depending on ur age they may also need to add the contact details of someone that will look after you in germany...also just to be safe ask ur paretns details including any isurance number ir how u have it in india and to add ur name adress passport or visa numbers...and finnaly get them to sign the letter

did the embassy nt inform you of what to include?

  3. They are suppose to give a legal declaration of stamp paper may in the form of undertaking to the concerned consulate

  4. It should be addressed to the consulate which asked for it

    eg.

    The German Consulate General

    Mumbai

    Sub : Consent to Travel

We,     (Father Full Name ) & (Mother Full name) state that we have given consent to our son/daughter (Full name) passport no --- to travel to Germany for -------days for -------------- purpose.

This letter is  to be submitted to the consulate as evidence of consent.
