No offer yet for Luis Suarez: Harry Redknapp
Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has played down rumours regarding an offer made for Ajax hitman Luis Suarez. The manager has confessed that despite being a fan of the 23-year-old striker, no offer has been made by Spurs yet.
"He's a good player but we haven't made any offer for him. I would doubt very much that anything will happen there. I've watched him loads of times; he's not an out-and-out striker but he could play anywhere," stated the Tottenham Boss.
The striker has been nothing but brilliant for the Dutch giants since his arrival in 2006, having found the net 110 times in 154 appearances. The player could not stop scoring last season, where he managed an unbelievable scoring rate of 1.02 goals per match.
Suarez scored 49 times in 48 games and is regarded one of the next big strikers in the world of football.
Suarez stated that should he leave Ajax, he would only play for clubs like Manchester United and Real Madrid and infact, he has been linked to a move to these two clubs.

to move away this summer. However, none of the sides could meet up with the 20-million-pound transfer fee demanded by Ajax and it is highly unlikely that something would happen soon.
