No offers from Manchester City or Chelsea for Porto’s Hulk as yet
Brazilian forward and Porto striker, Hulk has been linked with a move away from the Portuguese club for almost two to three seasons now. Following the departure of his former manager, Andre Villas-Boas, the player was expected to finally be on his way to
a bigger club.
However, that doesn’t seem to be the cause, if the player’s agent Teodoro Fonseca is to be trusted. Fonseca, has gone ahead and stated that there have been no offers for the player as yet and that Hulk is more inclined to sticking around in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984 instead
of making a move away.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fonseca-c13888 is quoted to have said: "We have not received any proposals and have not even been contacted by any club. Everything that's been written about a potential move is nothing but lies"
The two teams that have been associated with the twenty four year old are Manchester City and Chelsea. However, some rumours also claim AC Milan to be potential suitors for the player. Despite that fact, a move away from Porto is starting to look all the
more unlikely for the player.
The Brazilian recently went on to pen a contract extension at the club, which currently sees him being tied down to the club until 2016, that is unless a club is willing to pay the massive 100 million Euro buyout clause, that has been added to his contract.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hulk-c16436 has quite easily been one of the best players in the world this past season. The player, along with a couple of other Porto players, helped guide the Portuguese club to lifting the Europa League trophy, along with the Portuguese league title.
The player has proven that he can play on the wing, in the midfield, as a lone striker, as a shadow striker, or pretty much in any attacking position. He has the ability to take set pieces and can use his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Skills-c40539 and his quick feet to beat a defender or two
with ease.
Based on that fact, some experts have gone ahead and stated that the player might just be worth as much as fifty million Euros. However, that is again only half as much as what Porto have stated to be his buyout clause.
Now with both City and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 looking to land the player, it is safe to say that both teams have the finances to secure the player’s services and hence it is now only a question of either team going ahead and proving their true admiration for the player.
Which as we all know, can only be proven by them forking out the 100m Euros for Hulk.
