  1. we are paying for it now--hope it doesn't get any worse----supply & demand

  2. Yes, we are and for years to come.  With the growth of China, the demand for oil is even greater, so expect the price of oil to remain high unless new sources for it are used soon, but even that will take years.

Alternative energy sources should have been a government priority for at least the past 20 years, but oil industry lobbying has helped prevent that from being done, as well as the people's belief that oil would remain low here, despite the rise in price in nearly every other country in the world.  Europeans have been paying $4.00 and more per gallon for a long time.

Never to late to get started I guess, but we need to have someone start something like Kennedy did when he said we would go to the moon.  An alternative energy plan that is pushed strongly by the government.

  3. Frankly I root for the end of the gasoline era. No matter what happens right now we go through at least twenty years of war, depression, famine, disease and fascism because of the stupidity and stubborness of people. They could have followed up on the huge amounts of research that was done in the seventies: tidal energy, ocean thermal conversion, dry bed geothermal, solar, wind... a little effort back then and we wouldn't even need gasoline now.

But it appears people worship the internal combustion engine, and worship the s***s that have kept us from progressing. And now, we pay and pay.

Wait till the food shortages begin. That's when the shite is going to splatter the landscape. And it won't be in the far distant future. I give it less than a year. It's already happening in the rest of the world.

You complain about paying 3 fifty a gallon or gas. Wait till bread is twenty dollars a loaf.

  4. they need to make a 81 octane or even 51 so it'll be cheaper to buy

  5. YOU ARE RIGHT IT IS NOW!! BUT THERE IS HOPE.THEY ARE PLANNING TO DRILL IN THE TUNDRA OF ALASKA.POLITICS BABE!!!
