i found a casting for a show i want to send my headshot and resume to, but i dont have a headshot and resume because im just starting out. im going into 10th grade and ive taken a drama class, im also in tap, jazz, ballet, point, and hip-hop and i like to sing. i dont kno what im supposed to do if i dont have those things tho, how do i start my resume? and i dont have money to get a headshot taken because now my little sister wants to get one too. youre not allowed to use your school pic as you probably kno, and it has to be professional. help?

  1. okay first of all calm down!!! relax and breathe. there will always be more auditions

Now for your picture there are a few things you can do

    1. get it taken at a mall or at a profeesional place

    2. use a school photo (I know you said you can't but I think thye would let it slide)

    3. get someone who is interested in photography to take headshots of you they may do it for free so they have the practice. make sure your shots are saved onto a CD you can then print then out as you need them

your young and just starting out so I wouldn't worry to much aobut this yet. audition whenever you can act in any part no matter how small and always do your best

  2. Get your picture taken at wal-mart

and use the resume template in word

  3. I see your problem. I would say as of right now, let the short pass by. There WILL be others! Once school starts, finds some friends interested in photography and tell them you need headshots done. Tell them that they can practice on you for they're portfolio and that you guys will have an even trade. once you get that done, look on the internet for acting resume templates, there are tons! fill in ALL of you training, talents, and whatnots. Then your ready!

  4. Hey I'm going into 11th, and thats a good question

try taking a picture at you're local mall (using one of the photo booths to make a strip of 4 or 5 pictures) it should only cost 3 or 4 dollars.

or just try going to where you got you're passport picture.

And honestly don't worry about the whole proffesional part, your headshot is a small part of your audition and if presentable, shouldn't be judged.

    good luck with you're audition!
