No one to trouble King Nicky in Romford’s Coral Supports The Rgoa Standard
Fully prepared, King Nicky is going to make the life of his opponents very difficult at Romford on Friday night. The white and black dog is facing five dangerous competitors in the Coral Supports The Rgoa Standard, a 400 metres open race, scheduled to start
at 22:11 GMT.
If someone believes that the line-up is weak, he is making a massive mistake. All the six hounds hold the potential, and could make things very tricky for each other. Among King Nicky’s opponents are: Borna Monty, Millstreet Lar, Risky Fred, Ardfert Colin,
and Droopys Chase.
Although the entire pack is well capable, it is very easy to take a chance on King Nicky, who looks in good rhythm. After facing a few unlucky defeats, E. McNair’s charge went on a long vacation. He resumed his practice last month, when winning a couple
of trials in great style.
On his return to the field, the son of Eden Brett defeated King Bradley by one and a half lengths. The second trial act was even more fascinating. At the end of January, the December-10 hound stamped the opposition comfortably by a length’s margin.
After doing well in a couple of trials, he did an equally great job in two solo runs. After doing so many good things lately, he is all set to make a new beginning. So, the rest of the pack needs to stay very careful against him.
Millstreet Lar made a promising enough start to the career, but victories have not come to his way regularly. On his previous venture here, the black dog was third in the list. As far as Droopys Chase’s chances are concerned, inconsistency at the traps can
prove costly.
Borna Monty is a progressive sort, and should make a bold big. The draw is a concern, but the black dog is raring to go after a fresh strike. Ardfert Colin shows a fair level of form when getting loose. From the fourth box, he is unlikely to enjoy a clear
passage.
Risky Fred raised a few eyebrows with a shock victory last time. The black dog deserves respect on that, but another upset is unlikely. Good luck to all the hounds.
