It has been confirmed by English Premier League side Blackburn Rovers that there will be no planned protests at Ewood Park in the Rover’s next two home fixtures.
The Rovers have been struggling this season and are currently second from bottom in the English Premier League table, having won just two games this season. They look to remain in the bottom half of the Premier League table as the festive New Year’s period
approaches.
In addition to the pressure of winning matches, Blackburn Rovers have to deal with a section of supporters protesting for the removal of Steve Kean as manager of the club. Since their poor run of form, they have been holding organized protests with banners
reading “Kean Out”.
However, the protests have seem to have had a negative effect on the squad and their morale, because of which the management at the club have thought it best to ban the protests in the upcoming fixtures at Ewood Park, which will be crucial for Blackburn

Glen Mullan, the organizer, revealed that communication between the club and protesters had improved and action had taken for the protests to be brought to a halt for the upcoming fixtures. Blackburn Rovers host West Bromwich Albion on Saturday and Bolton
Wanderers on Tuesday.
Mullan said while speaking to reporters:
“We are in advanced discussions with the club and we are very, very pleased with the progress that has been made.
(Ewood Park stadium manager) John Newsham and (Blackburn deputy chief executive) http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-c29347 Hunt's attention to detail over the last couple of weeks has been exemplary.
There will be no organised protests this weekend before, after or during the game.”
According to Mullan, there will be no protests before, during or after the game, which will ensure the sort of atmosphere the Blackburn Rovers players require from their home ground.
He continued:
“We are not cancelling the protests, we are postponing them for the next two games, after discussions with the club and with (director of Rovers sponsor WEC Group and Blackburn fan) Wayne Wild as well.
We ask everyone to get behind the team for these two very winnable football matches.”
