My last period was on july 13th, today is august 22. I went to the dollar store and bought 3 pregnancy tests (who knew they sold those there) i took one every 2 days, to make sure i wasn't pregnant and they all came out negative.. I've been having cramps for about 1 week straight but no period. Why? When will i get my period? I called my doctor but my appt. isn't till next week, she didn't answer my question. She just said my periods are irregular. What do you think? Can there be a medical problem that causes me not to have my period, I also had an IUD removed on july 3rd because it flipped and was pinching my skin, but i got my period after 10 days, so idk.. The IUD was the one that's supposed to last 10 yrs, only last 4 in my case.

  1. I took 3 in a matter of a month.  All negative.  I waited another month and still no period,  so I took another test and that one was positive.  However I think in your case it's just your horomones working themselves out.  You havn't been off the IUD very long considering how long it was in.  Good Luck!

  2. my mother had 5 neg test and when she went to the doc she said she was pregnant so it can be possible.

  3. maybe your going through menopause?

  4. sometimes stress can cause a missed cycle.  i guess waiting a week could seem like a long time to find out if you are pregnant or not but you will be okay one way or the other, just try not to stress out about it

  5. actually, I am in my 2nd pregnancy and both times I found out by using a dollar store pregnancy test. Two different dollar stores too by the way.The first time I was like maybe it's just because it's a dollar store test so I went to Target and bought another test and I was pregnant. This time I took one and just knew I was pregnant. So you can try another test but I'd just go to the doctors! I honestly think maybe your body just trying to get back on track from the IUD.

  6. I think you should go to a pharmacy and buy a test but it could be stress on your body from the IUD and now your nerves.

  7. it may just be your body trying to get back on a schedule after the IUD.your options are to see the doctor and take a blood test or wait and see if your period shows up.

  8. ok don't take this the wrong way but the dollar store???? Who knows how long they have been sitting around.  I would go to the pharmacy and by a name brand one and see what happens.  If not you do have an appt ina week so Good Luck and let us know what happens.
