No period after 10 <span title="months...Nursing...normal?">months...Nursing...normal...</span>

Question

My son is now 10 months old. I have not had a period since being pregnant to present. I am nursing also. I figured that since I'm NOT on birth control and nursing that is the reason why I'm not having a period. I also thought, the minute I would start on BC, I would restart having a period. Does this all sound right, normal? I figured it was, but a friend said to check it out.

Normal. You&#039;re not ovulating yet so don&#039;t need birth control until you do, although you won&#039;t know when that is, so better safe than sorry! LOL
