they never said hats stoppin the period only that i'm not anemic and im not pregnant

could this be a case of testing to early or what can be goin on... my own doctors and medical teams in the hospital arent answerin my questions at all... im only 21 and scared that something could be very wrong as its not normal to miss a period so much

  1. There are tons of reasons to have this other than pregnancy. Stop worrying if the doctors are saying you're not. If they have not performed a blood test - ask for one because that will give you a definitive answer compared to a urine test. Have they checked you for ovarian cysts? Did you have a sudden change in your diet, a huge crisis in your life or are you anorexic? Those are some factors that can cause your period to stop. Also, if you are malnourished because you don't eat properly that can also cause it. You need to see a different doctor like a regular gynecologist who is a woman and will understand you. Nurse midwifes see women who are not pregnant as well as those who are and they would be great to see because they would understand your concerns and really work with you to determine a cause.

  2. There are other reasons obviously why this is happening.  But to second guess is no good.  Find a G.P. or health center that deals in women health issues only.  You could ring your local council and ask for guidance and book into one of these.

On a personal level it is probably something very simple, but it is stressing you out so let a professional check out out.  You may even be able to get guidance from the National health line number listed in your yellow pages.  Good luck.

  3. maybe a doc might help it's really no anyone's but the doctor who can really help we just guess cuz we dunno but for sure he knows and he might have some med for that,,,

  4. Havn't had one in four months.  Did 2 tests, a doc test, pelvic and hormone test.  It could be stress. Menopaws?

  5. First of all, I'm male, but I hope that does not disqualify me from answering. My ex had a similar issue, she would sometimes go for 3-4 months with no sign of a period.

Everyone is different. But PLEASE get checked out by a doctor that will tell you something. This is nothing to mess around with, it could be your reproductive future at steak or even worse.

Please, today get an appointment. Have you considered endometriosis? Get professional consultation, don't rely on Yahoo Answers to diagnose this.

  6. Hi :) First of all, you should be asking for a blood test to be 100% sure you are not pregnant. Sometimes, your HCG level can be lower then normal and not detected by hpt.

You should also get another doctor. One who will answer your questions!

Have you taken the pill ?? are you just off of it?? Cause if so, it can create irregularities. So can any birth control (the shot and else) when stopped.

Take great care of yourself and please, find an other doctor who is more caring.

  7. The tests can be wrong sometimes, but I prefer you should go to the doctor. You could be pregnet if you took place in sexual activity. But those signs mean your pregnet or your period is coming so see what is happening at the doctors.

  8. Some birth controls can make your period stop.  The depo shot, can make it stop all together.

I would still continue to take a test ever week or couple weeks to make sure you aren't pregnant.  I would also goto the doctor/hospital/clinic and ask for a blood test to determine that you are not pregnant.

If you are overweight(which you do not look it)  or underweight your period can sometimes stop.

Not ovulated can also cause a missed period.  If you're not ovulating, you're uterine lining isn't being shed (although it keeps building up) resulting in a loss of period.  Some reasons this may happen:

thyroid problems, pituitary problems, ovarian cysts, physical stress (say sudden increases in exercise, crash dieting), emotional stress, increased body weight, anorexia...

The last thing I can think of, very rarely, but it does happen, young woman start to go through menopause, at as young as late teenage years.  I cannot remember what it is called, but when I had problems with my period, I looked up every reason I could have missed.

  9. If you dont stress about it it will come.

Help me with mine please http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

  10. Maybe your hormones are off balance? I would suggest finding a new doc if your current one isn't helping.

  11. i would go to a doctor that will give you answers.
