  1. have you tried brushing your tongue? that is part of oral hygeine also if you have food allergies perhaps dairy  try avoiding this and see if your tongue changes you can eat acidic foods lemons strawb'ry spaghetti sauce , natural remedy's  first then see an ENT Dr. for tests

  2. You could have a yeast type infection called thrush. The yeast normally present in the mouth and digestive tract but it can also take over the normal organisms in your mouth and present more severe from time to time depending on certain medications, mouthwash use, foods and smoking status.

  3. have your yeast levels checked

  4. dont worry its not an infection, its just the way it is with your taste buds, do u have different tastes or sometimes not as good?

  5. If this white film is not in a consistent spot and sort of goes around your tongue, it MAY be that you have a 'geographic tongue.' My son has this. Basically, we all 'shed' our taste buds. Usually this happens randomly and we don't notice. But, some people shed larger areas at once which is more noticeable and can have a white film. In some people, a geographic tongue can be aggravated by certain foods (like acidic ones such as salsa); this may cause some discomfort. A good doc or a dentist or dental hygienist should be able to tell you for sure.

  6. its not an infection, or you would have known it by now. Its probably the skin on your tongue. Thats all.
