No picture from samsung blu-ray to samsung TV

Question

I am hooking up a yamaha receiver with klipsch speakers. I have a samsung blu-ray hooked up with an hdmi cable to the recevier and my dish network box hooked up with an hdmi cable to the recevier. The yamaha receiver is then hooked up with an hdmi cable to the samsung high def TV. I get a picture from my satellite reveiver but no picture from the blu-ray. What am I not doing correctly?
