  1. if you were the one driving , it goes on yours, doesnt matter who's vechile it is...peace

  2. the points will go on your license but the insurance is for the ownership of the car. Your license just says that you are an able bodied person to drive. If you drove an uninsured car that's your bad.

  3. Its ur responsibility. I got pulled over in my work vehicle and there was no proof of ins or reg. and i got the ticket and had to pay it. The cop said it is the responsibility of the person getting into the car to drive to make sure all the appropriate documents are there...sorry for ur luck!

  4. Your license, since you were driving.  Most states have a law that you must carry proof of insurance with the vehicle at all times, it you were driving the car and didn't have it, your fault for not checking when you borrowed the car.

  5. I fyou got into an accident, and you were driving your parents car, the points would be in your name. BUT if the parents own the car, and have the title, then they should have been insuring it, so the insurance coverage would fall on their insurance.

If you got a ticket for no insurance, just provide proof that the parents insure.

Are you insured as a driver on their policy? If so, the overall rates will go up because of the accident, but the points are yours.

  6. Go to court, prove the insurance was in force, pay the token fee, no points.

If insurance was not in force, it's your license.  Driver is responsible.
