The former Real Zaragoza centre-forward has quashed any talks of there being a psychological issue while playing against the champions of the Italian Lega, Juventus.
The Internazionale striker is fully pumped up to play the match against the Turin outfit and has gone on to categorically state that there would be no nerves when they take on Juventus on Saturday evening. The much anticipated Derby d’Italia comes at an
opportune time for the Nerazzurri outfit as they are currently on a run of eight consecutive victories in all competitions.
Of the eight victories, six consecutive victories have come in the Serie A, which has propelled them from the mid table to the top of the table. They are now in the second spot of the Serie A and are looking to take their run of eight consecutive wins to
nine by securing a victory against their fierce rivals, Juventus.
Recent history is not in the favour of the Beneamata outfit and they have not been able to secure a victory at the Juventus Arena ever since the Calciopoli scandal in 2006. Under the tutelage and guidance of Andrea Stramaccioni, they have gone on to play
attacking football, having often played with their three best strikers up front, with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rodrigo-c31437 Palacio featuring upfront on many occasions.
Furthermore, the animosity between the two sides have brought along with them many controversial issues which puts more spotlight on the match between the two sides. The Argentinean centre-forward has gone on to remark on the match and he feels that there
is no stigma involved with playing in Turin. He further went on to comment on the outfits they have faced over the years, and feels they have solid sides.
He went on to remark:
“I don’t think it is a psychological issue playing in Turin. These are really difficult games and we’ve always taken on excellent Juventus sides. We are in good shape and we are confident that we will go to Turin to play a good game and cause them problems.”
Milito has been praised by the Juventus centre-back, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Andrea-Barzagli-c5669, who touted him as one of the finest forwards in Europe.
