All these seem to be connected together somewhere. I think it might be a broken ground but i searched everywhere. The rear external lights dont work along with the passenger door lock and incorrect gas guage. NOW...the car has a mind of its own...it works when it wants to. Sometimes whiles driving it will all start to work.

  1. There should be a control module for those exact items. Something like a "REM" (rear electronics module) - a computer brain. May need replacement or software update.

  2. loose wire  or burnt fuse  that  connects as you hit bumps

  3. what kind of car?

  4. Are you talking about brake lights or parking lights sometimes called marker lights. I'd look for a bad connection someplace, wish you luck on that part, the fuel gauge could be a bad sending unit.
