Question:

No recovery menu on psp HELP

ive downloaded an upgrade for my psp and put it in a folder called UPDATE in the GAME folder via USB but when i try to run it is says 'the game could not be started.(80020148)' ive searched on the internet for my problem and people say go in to the recovery menu and enable 'Use No UMD' but i cant do this as i have no recovery menu - don't think i just dont no hhow to get it up. you turn it off hold R and turn it back on its not there

if anyone could help me i would be soo grateful

  3. the recovery menu is only acseable with custom firmware on the PSP not official ones from sony. Depending on what firmware you have just now you might be able to get custom firmware.
