No signal on hdtv for ps3?

my hdmi 1 cable for my hdtv works good but when i input av1 component which is my ps3 it says no signal any suggestions? it worked yesterday

plug ur PS3 do ur hdmi cable and then it should work. then go to display settings and change ur cable setup to the setting that you are trying to use, which is the av1 right? after ur display settings are changed on ur PS3 main menu. unplug us hdmi and plug in ur PS3 with ur new cable wires. i had to do this when i was switching. everytime u switch wire types, u gotta change ur display settings in ur PS3 menu too.
