No solid options in Premier Food Courts Racing Excellence "Hands And Heels" Handicap Hurdle at Fontwell
The punters have a tough decision to make, as there is no clear favourite in the Premier Food Courts Racing Excellence "Hands And Heels" Handicap Hurdle, taking place at Fontwell on Tuesday, April 03, 2012.
The class 4 meeting will begin at 16:40 (GMT). Five confirmed entries for the 3m3f event are: Dance Island, Always Bold, Fiveways, Magical Treasure and Kasimali.
A cash prize of £2,274 is reserved for the ultimate champion. With none of the abovementioned contenders in special form, the punters will have to be really brave. Let’s make a statistical analysis in order make things a bit easier for those interested in
staking their money.
Dance Island’s last performance was not impressive at all. On March 23, the nine-year-old performed poorly, seizing eighth position in the Betfair Sponsors The Stable Staff Canteen Handicap Hurdle at Newbury.
It was a disappointing effort by the bay gelding, who did well in February. The Ben Case-trained did a fine job in his penultimate outing, ending up third in the Follow Wetherby Racecourse On Facebook & Twitter Handicap Hurdle.
His recent defeat might have dented his confidence terribly, but that does not take anything away from him. He holds the potential to bounce back against this line-up, but it will be interesting to see how he handles the situation.
Always Bold is also struggling with his form these days. In each of his last three races, the seven-year-old was unable to complete his run. His last success came in November last year, when he sealed a couple of back to back victories.
So far in his career, he has clinched nine victories. In order to take his tally to double figures, the Martin Keighley-trained will have to do a lot of hard work.
Fiveways, who started off his career with a couple of wins, is in search of his lost momentum. Similarly, Magical Treasure is desperate for his maiden success.
It is hard to predict anything, as all of the participants are struggling at the moment. Dance Island and Always Bold are most likely to battle hard for the top spot in the list. Good luck to everyone.
