No sound from imported videos on Vegas Movie Studios 8.0 Trial?

Question

The video itself comes up and all, but no sound ever plays. I don't have anything muted or any of my sound options turned down too low. Even the tutorial isn't helping me. :( What could be wrong?

What sort of video are you using?  You say no sound plays, but do you see anything in the audio track?
